In the process of tracking and managing personal goals, effective data analytics and presentation can significantly enhance the user experience and the rate of achieving goals. To this end, Elisi has introduced a new analytics feature on the goal detail page, allowing users to gain a more intuitive understanding of their progress on various tasks associated with their goals. This help document will detail how to leverage the analytics feature in goal details to better manage and track goal progress.
Analytics Feature
Analytics Logic
On the goal detail page, Elisi provides a series of intuitive analytics to help users understand the statistics of the immediate subtasks under the current goal. These statistics include the total number of subtasks, the completion status of to-do items, the status of habit check-ins, financial transactions, mood summaries, and the number of notes.
Here is the specific logic for each statistic:
- Summary: Displays the total number of immediate subtasks under the current goal.
- To-do: Presents the completion status of to-do items in the form of a progress bar, formatted as "N/M," where N is the number of completed to-dos, and M is the total number of to-dos among all subtasks.
- Habits: Shows the completion status of habit check-ins, counting the number of habits and the number of times check-ins have been completed. If a habit requires multiple check-ins in a day to be considered complete, the completion count increases by one with each full check-in achieved.
- Finance: Displays the total income and expenditure for the current subtasks.
- Mood: Summarizes the mood records for the current subtasks, sorting them by frequency of use, such as "Happy icon x3." If the number of mood icons exceeds what can be displayed in one line, the excess is not shown.
- Notes: Directly displays the number of notes for the current subtasks.
Displayed in the Top Bar
If the option to display in the navigation bar is checked, the goal will appear in the top menu, allowing users to switch pages at any time to view it. Users can also adjust the order or cancel the display in the top bar's edit section.
